re:publica Rundgang 360°

On May, 3rd I was visiting the conference re: publica TEN in Berlin. Our V.360 Cam was always there and ready to do some live streaming. With this tiny cam I have captured a few clips in 360 degrees.

Since the camera is the size of a soda can, I could put it out of my pocket super fast and start recording directly by using the corresponding iPhone app. I also had my notebook with Live Encoder installed and the appropriate signal converter by the hand. So I could have done a live stream locally in 360 degrees in no time – but the re:publica WLAN was to lame – unfortunately. Too many digital natives with their devices around me 😉

Now I have seen all the clips, edited them and did a super fast upload to our 360° video platform. Here I have made all the important settings (camera model, panoramic format, etc.) and with our brand new WordPress plugin for embedded 360 ° videos (BETA) I linked the clip into this nice little recap.

And here is the result:

You can also watch on our app. It opens automatically when you click on the clip on smartphone or tablet.
